First look: Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam
Views ::116 Vishwaroopam, also known as Vishwaroop, is an upcoming bilingual Tamil and Hindi spy thriller film written, directed and co-produced by Kamal Haasan that features himself in the lead role.The film, also starring American model Pooja Kumar, Rahul Bose, Andrea Jeremiah and Jaideep Ahlawat, features music scored by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Cinematography and editing were handled by Sanu Varghese and Mahesh Narayan, respectively.

In May 2011, the project was taken over by Kamal Haasan from Selvaraghavan, who was first assigned to direct the film but was unavailable due to his prior commitments. Following a lenghty pre-production phase, filming began in August 2011, which took place in Chennai, New York and Jordan. Vishwaroopam is scheduled for an August 2012 release. .

Rajinikanth Reveals About His Business Interest

His spokesman has reportedly quashed this as a baseless rumour and clarified that he has no business interest or financial connection with the film �3�. He has reportedly requested the distributors not to trust any such news which speaks about his involvement to the movie. .

SIL Rubbishes Rajinikanth Paid For '3' Losses
Views ::94 Tamil star Dhanush is upset with reports that his father-in-law, the legendary Rajinikanth, is reimbursing the Telugu distributor's revenue losses for his movie "3".

Dhanush, who became a sensation across the country with his song "Kolaveri di", is married to Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya, who has directed "3".

"How I love the stories that are created just because I am married to a particular person's daughter," said Dhanush.

"'3' has suffered no losses. And even if there are losses to be compensated for, god has been kind to me. I can take care of my own financial liabilities, thank you very much," he added.

The Hindi version of '3' will be released next month, and it also features Kamal Haasan's daughter Shruti, who is yet to establish a good foothold in Bollywood.

The protective father and the movie enthusiast in Kamal feels "3" could do good to the Hindi film careers of Dhanush and Shruti, provided it is edited well, especially in the second half.

Dhanush, who has been painstakingly working on the Hindi version of "3", has perhaps decided to take Kamal's advice seriously.

"The film has gone into serious re-editing. Most experts feel '3' didn't work to its optimum level at the Tamil and Telugu box office because of its inordinate length," said a source close to the project.

"Kamalji saw the film and made suggestions as to how and where to prune down the length, specially in the second half," the source added.

Dhanush confirmed the news, saying: "Yes I am editing the film down further. Kamal sir did see the film and was kind enough to make suggestions." (IANS) .

"Through his own performance, he actually motivates and inspires you to do better than you think you can. So it's a great experience working with him, for sure," she says. Shruti has even sung a romantic number for the film and she says that it also happens to be one of her favourites. So, is she a romantic at heart in real life too? "Yes, sort of, though I don't believe in hearts and chocolates being the symbol of love at all (laughs). But I do feel that every girl does believe in romance, or at least wants to, whether she accepts it or not," adds Shruti, even as she admits to be single at the moment.

"Yes, I'm very much single," she insists, adding laughingly, "Where's the time to have that active a social life?" On a serious note, she adds, "It may sound clich�d, but it's true. Yes, we are talking about Rajnikanth's Kochadaiyaan, directed by his younger daughter Soundarya R Ashwin.

The Tamil film produced by Eros International and Soundarya's Ocher Picture Productions, is written by well known director K S Ravikumar.

There are two theories going around about the film's title. One is that it was a name for Lord Shiva. The other is that it was the name of a Pandya King.

From the first look, it seems the title refers to the other name of Lord Shiva, as Rajnikanth is shown in the Nataraja pose.

It is believed that Nataraja is a depiction of Lord Shiva as the cosmic dancer to destroy the universe so that Lord Brahma starts a new creation.

Rajnikanth is seen in six pack.

The film will feature Rajinikanth alongside an ensemble cast, including R Sarathkumar, Katrina Kaif, Sneha, Aadhi, Shobana, Nassar and Jackie Shroff. The film, which is expected to be shot with motion capture in 3D, will have cinematography handled by Rajiv Menon whilst background score and soundtrack will be composed by AR Rahman. Jackie makes cameo appearance.
