Vegetable Oils, saffola Oil, sunflower Oil, Sesame Oil and Soyabean Oil are better than other vegetable Oils. Allowance / Day = 2-3 teaspoons.
Mayonnaise and other sauces made in vegetable Oil.
Avoid consumption of whole egg.
Use skimmed milk ,low fat butter or cheese.
Lean meat, Chicken, Fish in limited amount provided they are cooked without fat i.e., boiled, steamed, roasted or baked, Chicken and Fish (around 75g) 2-3 times a week.
Almond(4), Walnut(1) can be taken. (Either of the both not together).FOOD TO BE AVOIDED

Read Ingredient labels carefully while buying food

High fibre foods like salads and boiled vegetables , sprouted grams pulses, fruits with skins whenever possible and wheat flour and it's products, parboiled rice etc., in preference to refined flour and pulses.HEART HEALTHY FOODS

Skimmed milk and its products like curd, cheese, paneer,desserts etc., should be taken in limited quantity.(Maximum skimmed milk allowance per day is 500-600 ml)
