The Telangana political joint action committee will soon split vertically, if Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao has his way.
The TRS president called the leaders of the Telangana employees JAC to his party office on Saturday to discuss the strategy for the forthcoming by-elections to Parkal assembly seat. Though the T-employees JAC is part of the T-JAC, KCR deliberately kept JAC chairman Prof M Kodandaram at bay. He apparently told the employees’ leaders that if the Telangana statehood process has to be taken forward, the JAC leaders have to support TRS candidate. In front of these leaders, KCR castigated Prof Kodandaram for his inability to tackle the Bharatiya Janata Party in Mahbubnagar by-elections.
According to the latest information, T-employees leaders have decided to support TRS candidate in the Parkal by-elections. On the other hand, Prof Kodandaram and his supporters are saying they would remain neutral in the event of both the BJP and the TRS contest the polls. If the stalemate continues, the T-JAC leaders are all set for split!
