Just sometime back, the one name that was making a lot of noise in the filmnagar circles was that of R R Venkat. His banner R R Movie Makers was all around announcing big projects with heavy budgets. However, it is now heard that one project has been bringing few tensions to the big man.
 
This is ‘Damarukam’ starring Nagarjuna. Slated to be the most expensive movie ever made in Nag’s career, it is heard that the budget for the film has overshot and is yet to be completed. On the other hand, R R Movie Makers suffered few dents as the range of their expected success didn’t come.
 
Except for the film ‘Poolarangadu’ none of the other projects fetched the required returns. Sources say that is also one reason why the other project ‘Autonagar Surya’ is getting delayed. But if ‘Damarukam’ can create some good beat at the box office then R R Venkat can breathe a sigh of relief.
